After our recent commission for Juddmonte stud we were very pleased to be asked to do a similar commission for The National Horse Racing Museum in Newmarket, Suffolk.
Hibbitt Masonry designed, supplied and installed the carved Clipsham Stone plinth onto a Crossland Hill Yorkstone slab ready for the statue of ‘Frankel’. This statue now takes pride of place in The National Horse Racing Museum Courtyard.
Hibbitt Masonry were commissioned to supply a Portland Stone plaque with an incised and tinted inscription to be positioned in The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art in Newmarket, Suffolk.
To celebrate the formal opening of the Museum; Her Majesty The Queen unveiled the plaque on 3rd November 2016.
