We were pleased to have been commissioned to design, supply and install the Portland Stone plinth for the bronze statue of Hasili by sculptor Judy Boyt which was erected in Banstead Manor Stud.
The Portland Stone block was placed on a Crossland Hill Yorkstone slab that sits on a specially designed concrete foundation to counterweight the sculpture.  The incised and tinted lettering is on all four sides of the base, all work was carried out at our works in Victoria Road, Cambridge.  Our second photo shows the statue being dropped into place with our Hi-ab lorry.
The work was all completed on time for its unveiling on the 5th May 2017.
