We were asked to carry out repairs to the bay windows at this Victorian house in the City Centre of Cambridge.
We supplied new Bathstone cills and moulded corbelled bricks to the ground floor. We then lightly cleaned and defrassed the existing eroded stonework and then raked out and re-pointed all open joints with lime mortar.
This property was also in need of some repair work to the top gable copings. New Bathstone copings and finial were supplied and fitted to match the originals. The gable brickwork was also raked out and re-pointed.
This work has now made the property structurally safer but it has improved its appearance dramatically.
